IS PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma consists of two elements: plasma, or the liquid portion of blood, and platelets, a type of blood cell that plays an important role in healing throughout the body. Platelets are well-known for their clotting abilities, but they also contain growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration, increasing collagen growth and elastin in the dermal layers of the treated area. Platelet-rich plasma is simply blood that contains more platelets than normal. HOW IS PRP PRODUCED?
Producing platelet-rich plasma involves drawing a small amount of the patient’s blood and then spinning it in a centrifuge to separate red blood cells and other impurities from the PRP. What makes the Advanced WorldPRPTM system the most effective method is that the centrifuge quickly and gently processes the blood so that platelets aren’t damaged. The process typically takes only 3 minutes.

WHAT IS A PRP TREATMENT LIKE?

Here’s what you can expect during a PRP topical session:

While you are numbing for your initial treatment, the PRP procedure begins with a blood draw from your arm for the creation of the PRP serum.

The extracted blood is then placed in our Advanced WorldPRP™ system to separate the liquid and platelets with a high concentration of growth factors.

Immediately following your treatment, the prepared PRP is then spread on the skin and it is gently massaged onto the micro channels until fully absorbed by the skin.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a “natural filler” that gives a youthful appearance to the skin with minimal downtime. There are virtually no risks of allergies or sensitivity as PRP is derived from your own blood. PRP is your own blood plasma containing high concentrations of platelets that stimulate stem cells to help the body regenerate and heal at a faster rate. PRP improves overall skin texture, decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, and plumps hollowing areas such as tear trough grooves, cheeks, and temples.
